What does it take to write for television?

How can you make it funny?

Can you reinvent yourself?

These questions, and many more, are answered throughout my conversation with Kevin Kelton.

Kevin is a veteran of television writing and producing. Although his name wasn’t familiar to me, I knew a few of the shows he’d worked on. He also mentions a few big names during our conversation as well, so listen up!

And it’s also obvious that I’m a TV nerd. We get to talking about amazing yet abused “NewsRadio.” You can tell I watched way too much TV as a kid. But Kevin humored me and even turned a few of the questions around on me, which was surprising. And refreshing.

It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend listening to the show.

You should also check out Kevin’s podcast, a More Perfect Union Podcast.

Enjoy!
